Remembering the Gift
Darrin Thurber | Lead Pastor
Join us this Sabbath for communion as we remember the incredible sacrifice Jesus made for us!
"14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him. 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him."
Drop Everything & Pray
daily at 9:00am & 4:00pm
Prayers & Squares
We invite you to join us in prayer for those who will receive quilts. Prayer quilts will be available at church if you would like to tie a knot and say a prayer.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
THIS WEEKEND
Join us for Sabbath School this Saturday at 10:00 AM! Come hungry for breakfast and ready for a great morning of discussion, fellowship, and time to connect with one another.
While Pastor Zion is away in Hawaii speaking at a conference, our Head Elder, Libertie Hadad, will be leading out in Sabbath School! We’re grateful to have Libertie spend the morning with our youth and lead us in our discussion. We hope to see you there!
UPCOMING: Please see the calendar below for all of our upcoming Cali Youth events!
OCTOBER 16–17 | WEEKEND OF PRAYER
We want to encourage all of our youth to be a part of this special weekend! We’ll be collaborating with youth from Yucaipa, Yucaipa Samoan, Redlands, Azure Hills, Upland Indonesian, and Corona for a Weekend of Prayer together.
Friday night will be hosted at Calimesa, followed by Saturday afternoon and evening at Redlands SDA. We’re excited to be flying out our guest speaker, Pastor David Kabanje, and will also have a guest worship team leading us in worship throughout the weekend.
We’re hoping to see as many of our youth there as possible as we spend the weekend worshipping, praying, connecting, and growing together!
OCTOBER 30 | JOINT VESPERS
To close out the month, Cali Youth and our Junior High group will be coming together for a special Joint Vespers! More details will be shared as we get closer.

Next Fellowship Dinner
Everyone is invited to join us on Sabbath, October 17, in the Fellowship Hall for our fellowship dinner. Members, as you are able, please plan to contribute to the meal by bringing 10-12 servings of a vegetarian dish per person attending (the Potluck Team provides enough food for their families and our guests, but we depend on our members bringing food in order to have enough). As always, visitors are welcome to join us as our guests.
