Dr. Samantha Perlata | Camp Meeting Speaker
This Sabbath, we are blessed to welcome Pastor Samantha Peralta as our guest speaker. Pastor Samantha currently serves as the Director of the Growing Together Sabbath School Curriculum for the Southeastern California Conference. Dr. Peralta holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in Family Discipleship from Fuller Theological Seminary, a Master of Divinity from Andrews University, and a double bachelor's degree in theology and communication from Pacific Union College. She has served as a children's pastor and youth and young adult pastor in churches throughout SECC since 2013, as well as elementary chaplain at Loma Linda Academy. She is married to fellow pastor Wally Peralta, and together they have two children, Olivia and Orion.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
THIS WEEKEND - ONE LIFE
Given that most of us will be gone this Sabbath, August 15th, there will be no Sabbath School - this weekend our youth group is up at One Life. One Life will take place at Pine Springs Ranch from August 14–16.
We will depart from the Calimesa Church on Friday, August 14, at 3:15 PM and travel together to Pine Springs Ranch. We plan to return to the Calimesa Church by 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 16.
As you prepare for the weekend, please bring the following:
• Clothes (including activewear)
• Running shoes
• Hoodie or jacket
• Water bottle
• Sunscreen
• Toiletries
• Bible
• Flashlight
Good news! We'll be staying in the lodges this year instead of the cabins, so everyone will enjoy a much more comfortable rooming experience.
Be on the lookout for next week's email, which will include additional details, a final packing list, and everything you'll need to know before we leave!

If you’re interested in studying the Bible and growing deeper in your faith, use the link below to schedule a time to meet with Pr. Zion.
If you're interested in developing your voice or instrument, or learning more about leading worship through your gifts, you can sign up as well! You’ll be able to see available meeting times on the calendar, and Pr. Zion would love to help you grow as a worshiper and musician by working through songs, techniques, and worship leadership together.
If you're interested in learning how to run sound for youth group, use ProPresenter, or serve behind the scenes in worship ministry, we can work on those skills during our meetings as well!
