An Example To Follow

This Sabbath, as we continue our journey through 1 Corinthians, we come to a passage that is especially fitting for Father’s Day weekend. In chapter 4, Paul describes himself as a spiritual father to the Corinthian believers and encourages them to imitate his example. Join us as we take a closer look at the kind of life Paul modeled and the lessons it holds for us today.
15 Even if you had ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel. 16 Therefore I urge you to imitate me.
We are in need of more adult volunteers, so please feel free to sign up!

We invite you to join us in prayer for those who will receive quilts. Prayer quilts will be available at church if you would like to tie a knot and say a prayer.

THIS WEEKEND
We have a clean up day of the youth room this Friday. Please join in on tidying up the room this Friday from 10am-1pm. The June calendar says 12pm but the actual time will be from 10am-1pm**. Pr. ZT will have different projects available for youth to participate in helping clean up the room. We also have our weekly Sabbath School meet at 10am. Join us for breakfast and Bible Study.
ONE LIFE 2026
One Life Bible is open for registration! EARLY BIRD PRICE IS FINISHED.
This year we will be spending the weekend of August 14-16 at Pine Springs Ranch! Spots are limited, so please register as soon possible to claim a spot. Let your friends know you want to see them there as well!
The prices are as follows:
Regular Ticket: $175 (closes July 1)
This year, you will be paying as you conclude your registration! So make sure to have a parent close by or have a wallet accessible!
I am looking forward to a great weekend together at the camp and hope we can bring a big group from our Cali Youth community. If you have any questions let Pr. ZT know asap.

BREAKFAST SIGN-UP
We are so thankful for everyone who has helped provide breakfast for our youth on Sabbath mornings! Breakfast is covered through the end of June. Parents, please be on the lookout for a new breakfast sign-up schedule from Pastor ZT and Lory Alido for July. Thank you for helping make our Sabbath mornings special!
BIBLE STUDY, WORSHIP & MUSIC SIGN UPS
If you’re interested in studying the Bible and growing deeper in your faith, use the link below to schedule a time to meet with Pr. Zion.
If you're interested in developing your voice or instrument, or learning more about leading worship through your gifts, you can sign up as well! You’ll be able to see available meeting times on the calendar, and Pr. Zion would love to help you grow as a worshiper and musician by working through songs, techniques, and worship leadership together.
If you're interested in learning how to run sound for youth group, use ProPresenter, or serve behind the scenes in worship ministry, we can work on those skills during our meetings as well!

Everyone is invited to join on Sabbath, June 20, in the Fellowship Hall for our fellowship dinner. Members, as you are able, please plan to contribute to the meal by bringing 10-12 servings of a vegetarian dish per person attending (the Potluck Team provides enough food for their families and our guests, but we depend on our members bringing food in order to have enough). As always, visitors are welcome to join us as our guests.
Come join us every 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Friday night of the month at 6:30 in the Early Birds/ Kindergarten room for a children and family vespers/Bible study.
You are welcome to attend the study group meeting on Sabbath Mornings at 9:00 AM in the Quilting Room, that is studying Kurt Johnson's book, "How to Make a Visit." When the book is completed, they will be studying "It is Written" lessons. For questions, please contact Meredith Sherwin or Pixley Lewis.
Come deepen your understanding of the book of Daniel with a study group on Thursday or Sunday evenings at 6:30 pm in the Green Room. This study will follow the Salvation in Symbols and Signs presentations by James Rafferty and Ivor Myers, offering a thoughtful and engaging exploration of the themes and symbolism in Daniel.
