Jesus is Baptized

This quarter, our sermon series will follow the Growing Together Sabbath School curriculum. This month, we follow Jesus’ journey as He comes to be with us and invites us to follow Him. From His family’s escape to Egypt to His baptism and the calling of His first disciples, we catch glimpses of what “being with us” looked like. As we notice how news of Jesus spread and how His teaching about the Kingdom of God was shared, we are reminded that we, too, are called to follow wherever Jesus leads us.
16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

Church Offering Schedule
We have received $50,302 so far!
Still working on our goal!
Each year, our church board appoints a committee to select the ministries and projects our church will support through the Christmas offering. This year, the committee has chosen eight projects. When you give to the Christmas offering, your donation is distributed among these ministries according to the amounts designated.
We often include a church facilities project as part of this effort. This year, the committee chose to raise funds to paint the exterior of our church and update our signage. As always, we ensure that all mission projects are fully funded before any funds are applied to the church facilities project.
