Walking in the Light

As we return this week to our Letters of John series we find John declaring the good news that God is light and that in him there is no darkness! But the good news doesn't just stop there, he also says that we can spend our lives walking in this light. Join us this Sabbath as we explore what it means to walk in God's light!

"5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." 1 John 1:5-7 NIV

Everyone is invited to join us for our next potluck meal on Sabbath May 17, in the Fellowship Hall. Members, as you are able, please plan to contribute to the meal by bringing 10-12 servings of a vegetarian dish per person attending (the Potluck Team provides enough food for their families and our guests, but we depend on our members bringing food in order to have enough - also, we have a musical group joining us that Sabbath, so if you are able, please bring a little extra). As always, visitors are welcome to join us as our guests.
