This Sabbath we begin a new series on the letters of John with the hope of diving deeper in understanding who God is (“Light" & "Love."), and in how we should live as His followers.

3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.4 We write this to make our joy complete. 1 John 1:3-4 NIV.

Fellowship Dinner

Everyone is invited to join us for our next potluck meal on Sabbath May 3, in the Fellowship Hall. Members, as you are able, please plan to contribute to the meal by bringing 10-12 servings of a vegetarian dish per person attending (the Potluck Team provides enough food for their families and our guests, but we depend on our members bringing food in order to have enough). As always, visitors are welcome to join us as our guests.

Opal Mitchel Memorial Service

A service to celebrate the life of Opal Mitchell will be held at the Calimesa SDA Church, Sunday, May 4, 2:30 in the afternoon. All are welcome.

Please feel free to wear colors as "we do not grieve as others do who have no hope." (1 Thess. 4:13)
