Society often equates leadership with wealth, power, and influence. Jesus, in contrast, embodies a kingdom, rooted in sacrifice, humility and love. Matthew 26:1-16 illustrates two responses to Jesus’s kingdom that each of us must choose between.
"6 While Jesus was in Bethany in the home of Simon the Leper, 7 a
woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume,
which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table." Matthew 25:34 NIV
Fellowship Dinner
Everyone is invited to join us for our next potluck meal on Sabbath April 5, in the Fellowship Hall. Members, as you are able, please plan to contribute to the meal by bringing 10-12 servings of a vegetarian dish per person attending (the Potluck Team provides enough food for their families and our guests, but we depend on our members bringing food in order to have enough). As always, visitors are welcome to join us as our guests.

Mesa Grande Academy
Loma Linda University Church UCARE Ministries will present a free seminar about “Moving through Life More Informed” on Sunday, March 30. David P. Harris, VP of LLU Information Systems will be presenting: “Staying Safe in an Online World.” Brunch at 10:30 AM. Presentation from 11 AM to 1 PM in the LLU Church Fellowship Hall. Topics include online safety and cybersecurity; how to better protect personal information; keeping devices secure during updates and much more! The meeting is free, but registration is required before March 23 at LLUC.org.
For many years our General Sabbath funds primarily covered the cost of Sabbath School materials, quarterlies, etc. With our adoption of Growing Together Sabbath School materials, which is funded by the Conference, we are now able to use General Sabbath School funds to provide audio/visual resources as well. Thank you for your giving to this fund over the years. Now, in addition to the printed materials and supplies, your continued giving will allow us to provide necessary audio/visual resources as well.
