The Last Week: Monday

This Sabbath we turn our attention to what happened on Monday of Jesus’ last week on earth. And it’s a pretty intense day! Jesus is cursing trees, overturning tables, and driving people out of the temple! What is causing Jesus to be so impassioned and outraged? And, is it something that we should be impassioned and outraged about ourselves?

Fellowship Dinner
Everyone is invited to join us for our next potluck meal this Sabbath March 15, in the Fellowship Hall. Members, as you are able, please plan to contribute to the meal by bringing 10-12 servings of a vegetarian dish per person attending (the Potluck Team provides enough food for their families and our guests, but we depend on our members bringing food in order to have enough). As always, visitors are welcome to join us as our guests.

Loma Linda University Church UCARE Ministries will present a free seminar about “Moving through Life More Informed” on Sunday, March 30. David P. Harris, VP of LLU Information Systems will be presenting: “Staying Safe in an Online World.” Brunch at 10:30 AM. Presentation from 11 AM to 1 PM in the LLU Church Fellowship Hall. Topics include online safety and cybersecurity; how to better protect personal information; keeping devices secure during updates and much more! The meeting is free, but registration is required before March 23 at LLUC.org.
